Ramayya Krishnan (1981/BTME), Dean of the H. John Heinz III College of Information Systems and Public Policy, and William W. and Ruth F. Cooper Professor of Management Science and Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University, is a recipient of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras Distinguished Alumnus Award 2017.
