  I am a 4th year Dual Degree student (B.Tech in Mechanical Engg. and M.Tech in Intelligent Manufacturing). I have always been enthused by Assembly lines, Mass production and Automation. Hence, I am looking forward to a career in the field of Simulation and Modeling in Industrial Engineering.
  
  
• What he sees his Role as the Alumni Affairs Secretary of Godavari to be...
  As Alumni Affairs Secretary of my hostel, I am responsible:
  • For the enhancement of interaction between the students and alumni.
  • To act as an effective medium between office of Alumni Association and student community.
  • To develop and maintain hostel website. Further, to make it an active forum and a source for important and relevant information.
  • To work in tandem with other Alumni Secretaries to help Alumni  
  
  
• His perception of Alumni ...
  First of all, it is not about expectations. It’s strictly NOT business. Meeting Alumni is an unmatched experience to all of us. The words of wisdom, Success Mantras (not shortcuts), information and especially their description of IIT life in 70’s and 80’s ………… All we want to say is “COME! LET’S HAVE COFFEE”
   
• What he would like to see happen in the Alumni Association ...
  As of now, there is very poor interaction between Alumni Association and Students. I believe that following steps should be taken to improve it:
  • Properly publicize the activities and events organized by Alumni Association.
  • Alumni Affairs secretaries should act as a bridge of trust between the Alumni Association and Student community.
  • In light of the issues regarding Privacy and Spamming, the interaction between Alumni and students should be made more conducive.
